PS4 PC remote using trackpad a/ XBMC and general use

Hello,
I was wondering wether I was possible to use my ps4 controller as a pc remote. I often plug my laptop into my tv and watch all my movies and tv. I use xbmc but I think it might be possible to use the touch pad as a trackpad.

Ok so you want to control XBMC with your PS4 controller? A PS4 controller uses Bluetooth to connect with the PS4, and I know there are drivers for PS3 controllers that let you play games using the PS3 controller and a USB or Bluetooth connection on a PC. But I'm a little skeptical on the support for XBMC to allow control for PS4 controllers. I know you can get IR Receivers for a PC that allows a TV remote to control XBMC.

They have already confirmed that the PS4 remote only works through wired connection and the touch pad is not supported from what I have read. Unless you want to take the time to write the drivers yourself I don't see any support for it coming to PC. I could be wrong though.
