I actually use a PS3 controller for all of my pc racing games, and emulators. While I may not buy a PS4, I've been thinking about how possible it'll be that I buy a controller and use it as a replacement to my dualshock 3 for my PC. I've been researching it, and it seems like a damn nice controller. It seems so ergonomic, and the D-pad looks better than ever. I'll post some pics for those who aren't aware, but can you see yourself using this is a computer peripheral?
If you'll be using this for gaming on a PC I don't know if there is any point in buying the new "DualShock 4". The reason I say that is all the new features you will be paying for probably wont be compatible with pc gaming, For example the "share" button that will allow you to post your pre buffed game on sites like Ustream and facebook. So unless you will be able to do this and be able to use the new touch pad you'll be paying through the nose just for the new layout.
Yup I'd be paying just for the new layout and design, but to me it looks completely worth it, depending on the price. If it's 65 bucks I'll pick up a used one. The extra ps4 exclusive features are cool but useless on a PC and i never had them in mind when thinking about using it.
I still use a wired xbox pad when i what to game on my pc from my sete+tv the wired pad is just cheap and ALLWAYS works with any game that uses a joystick/gamepad
The D-Pad on the 360 controller is absolutely un-usable, have you tried playing fighting games with that shit?
No i use a stick for fighting games why the hell would you use a D-pad for fighting games?
is it just me or do the new grips share a striking resemblance with a 360 controller
I see zero resemblance
Playing a fighting game on a PS3, hell even a PS1 controller is much better than the 360 one and it's alot more comfortable than a giant ass stick (unless you're talking about the analogue stick, which is unplayable as well)
