Proxmox not accessable over VPN (OpenVPN on PFSense), but everything else is?

Hey all! New here, hoping to get some help with this issue I’m having:

Pfsense has OpenVPN installed and I can connect to it from my laptop when I’m not at home. From the VPN, I can connect to my FreeNAS, Phillips Hue(webUI), Plex, Octoprint, Unifi Controller VM (for an AP Pro) and my desktop, but not Proxmox.

They are all in the same IP address group, subnet mask is correct, but I cannot reach proxmox via the webUI or SSH. When at home and not over VPN, the same laptop can connect just fine.

Any idea where I can start?

on your pfsense vpn server settings there is a toggle to allow the VPN subnet to talk to your main subnet. You need to make sure this is enabled.

If you’re talking about the local networks it’s forwarding to, it’s going to the main subnet. Main is x.x.0.x, VPN is x.x.10.x tunneling to x.x.0.x

I don’t see a toggle box to allow this communication.

I can also connect to other devices on the main subnet such as the freeNAS box.
