Hello, I have tried to read everything I could find regarding this subject and have made it pretty far on the knowledge provided by others. I have done the following:
- successfully compiled AMD GIM using the updated repository which was patched for kernel 5.0+
*enabled GIM to load on startup - made sure amdgpu drivers are blacklisted
I am at a point now where the virtual GPUs seem to initialize, however I get this error and when I try to launch a VM after assigning a vGPU in proxmox the whole system crashes and reboots.

Does anyone have any experience with gim error:(init_register_init_state:3641) Failed to INIT PF for initial register 'init-state' and getting past this?
There have been so many tiny things that have held me up with this process and have been overcome that I feel this is also one of those instances of me having something just slightly misconfigured.
