Damn this is nice, how much did this cost in total? Well over 2 grand I assume?

Complete part list? and part specs?

Is this your post?  http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/showthread.php?t=174774

Well it's the same account name, and by 'lastest' he probably meant the newest one he had built, which I guess is from October.

yea it is the same build. Since I have updated some things and redid the cabling. Also I did a rename on all of my builds/computers.

@StevenW1234 the cpus run $1000 each retail (not like i paid that)

new video and some pics coming. Changed a few things with the look and layout.

Those graphics cards are stunning.

Wow... I am quite impressed by this build and maybe even a bit jealous. I can only assume this is a normal "human reaction."

God damn you, im doing a whole air cooler PC thats going to have a similar theme, mind if i pester you for some modding tips ?

Oh and it looks AMAZING btw!

What on earth do you need dual Xeons for? It looks amazing but what do you do with it?!

Agreed, what is the purpose of this build? You call it 'Project Ark' and I came here thinking it was some sort of awesomely optimized Data Archive machine, but it looks more like a number cruncher or video editing rig.

sure, pester away!

What did you coat the Graphics cards with, its absolutley stunning! Would that coating work on a liquid rad?

it is sort of data archiving. i have a nice array for dslr video and photos. but that is what i do most of the summer. editing video of events and photos during the weekends.

it is actually bare aluminum, roughly sanded with a protechive layer of clear enamel.

revisited this a bit. Threw some water at it and temps are crazy good.

Res can be seen from the inside of the case. Had to also cut off the top of the EK bridge. It had a lot of extra material and i needed the room.
