Problem with Windows 7 and Corsair Force Series 3 120GB SSD, random data

So, within the last hour or so for some reason I've been getting aload of data added to my drive.

Early today the drive had about 15-20GB free, whilst playing GTA IV I was switched to the desktop with a notification saying that I only had 50KB of space free. I ran disk clean up and deleted something like 21GB of temporary files and moved Metro 2033 to my secondary drive.

However, no more than 10 minutes later I had the same problem again. The free space was being continuously used up. I wasn't downloading or doing any work, I was just playing GTA IV.

My question is, what's going on; is it a problem with Windows recognising how much free space there is or is there an issue elsewhere?

Cheers

Do a virus scan, just to get that out of the way.

How big is your page filing size set to/allowed to use?

How old is the SSD?

Have you updated you OS recently?

I ran a virus check that came back celar, not sure on the second one. The SSD is about 4 months old and I haven't upgraded my OS.
