Problem with Starship/Matisse HD Audio Controller

Hello, everyone. I’m running a fresh install of Debian with i3-wm and I’m facing some problems with my headphone. My pulseaudio it’s running and I’m receiving output to my TU106 High Definition Audio Controller (as I could saw in pavucontrol). However, my Starship/Matisse HD Audio Controller isn’t receiving output at all.

Some kind of information that maybe should be useful for those who’ll answer:

I don’t get it. Why does your 5800X have on-board audio? What’s the motherboard, and which audio chipset does the motherboard have?

K3n.

It just identifies like that. I have a 5900X and it’s showing the same.
I had a 2700X in the same board before and it was showing a different name, it changed when I swapped in the 5900X.

I’m not entirely sure why that is but my assumption is that it’s part of the chipset (more specifically the northbridge), or at least the audio controller is connected through it.

That being said…

This needs some clarification. Are you just unable to hear anything on your speakers, or are the volume meters in pavucontrol also not peaking when audio is routed to it?
