I have dualboot config with win10 and Fedora. Today when i tried to boot into Fedora I got a screen spammed with:
error: attempt to read or write outside partition.
and
error: not a correct xfs inode.
I tried to google this problem but wasn’t able to find a suitable solution.
I need to get to this linux because i have some uni stuff there which I didn’t backup in any way >_>
I’ve had a similar problem some time ago, it wasn’t really sporadically caused but rather some partitioning crud while i was toying around with parted(luckily on a empty harddrive/partition, infact i think i was trying to setup a md partition or something).
most likely your partition table has become messed up and the filesystem for some reason thinks it is ~1-4 Kbyte(give and take some terabytes) to large or something to that accord.
Id try a ubuntu boot stick and see if gparted can maybe point you in the right direction, most likely were talking bytes, not Mb, Gb or larger.
Forgot if i ever solved it actually or just flipped it off, and repartitioned out of sheer “This is retarded/com’on” frustration.
