Problem with Case

good day all,

i just finished buying all the internal of my buid, but i dont want to buy a case until the Prodigy M arrive to Mexico (until January), but i want to start putting all together and at least install the OS, and be able to play some games (BF4, etc).

How can i mount my pc without a case?

That would be awesome temp holder. You could, also, just drill the standoffs into a block of wood.

is not a bad idea, but i'm looking for something that would be able to fit a GTX760 :P

just put it together on you mobo box, use some wooden or plastic blocks to prevent sagging

Why dont you mount all your components on a sheet of perspex, and hang them on your wall...

 Decent tutorial here: http://tinyurl.com/ltt5xg4

i'll do it, because i cant mount it on the wall, because my place is rented and i need to leave this january, and for dicember i'll buy the Prodigy M.

Thanks for the idea, but do i'll need the standoff? or not?

i can't drill the wall because i rent the place, and i'll leave in january, and next month may be i'll have the money for the case and if i have luck the case will be here also.

But i have the idea of do that, when i have my own place :D

Well in the meantime, you could always get some extra perspex and completely enclose it ( drilling holes for venting/airflow of course) and leave it up against a wall, or in behind your desk, until you are actually in  a position to mount it on a wall...

Also if you do end up doing this.... WAY COOLER than a retail case =D

use a rigid cardboard box.  Cut holes for ventilation here and there, and stick some fans around if you have any.

My friend and I have done it before.

thats what i'll do, but my question now is, do i need the standoffs for the mobo? or i just drop it inside and screw the graphics card to the box?
