Problem:
I am trying to use the Minisforum UM890 PRO with 2 monitors through the KVM.
Since the Minisforum has one DP output and one HDMI output, I use this cable to connect the HDMI output to the DP input on the KVM (Club 3D CAC-1082):

However, I get no output (no image on monitor AOC basic 1080p monitor). On further investigation, I think the cable is directional, and I think the cable I use is the wrong way.
My question is:
Do you recommend that this cable (for example) would work (Club 3D CAC-1335)?
Other Notes:
If there are other recommendations for a cable to use… by all means, please… 
(just let it be also from Club 3D; I’m strange that way…)
The KVM is not defective, I don’t think so; it worked for a couple of years so far w/o problem by using a simple DP cable for that port… I only some days ago bought the Minisforum and changed the setup - it’s not working…
