750W gold EVGA
i5 4670k OC to 4400 with 1.20V
7 fans, 1 cpu, 6 case
2 SSD, 128Gb, 500 Gb
1 HDD 7200 1Tb
DVD/CD-RW
4 USB, LED gaming keyboard and mouse, Headphones, Camera
2 sticks of 1600 DDR3
Titan X SC (this is athe upgrade for my system that has me thinking)
Some sites have me topped out at just under 700W. Does 50W give me enough headroom. If not what should I be looking at?
Also may see if I can OC the Titan just for shits and giggles.
Thanks for all the responses. You all are great here.
Cheers
That is enough headroom, but not enough amperage. If you get the EVGA 750W you'll have a bad time. It has 4 12V rails that split 80 Amps into 4 x 20 Amps. Since the Titan X requires a constant 38 Amps, this just won't do. I suggest finding a PSU with a single rail that exceeds 38 Amps.

Do you by chance have a suggestion?
I am going to Fry's tomorrow to check out what they have. As of now Skyrim only crashes every 5 minutes and I am thinking it might be the PSU.
I did add some mods to my original list when I had my 770. Mostly mesh and texture mods.
Thanks for the advice Fouquin.
Cheers
If you're overclocking then Id go more for a 850W PSU, try the AX860i (there may be a non 'i' version that is cheaper) by Corsair, it will have everything you need.

Any 750W PSU with one or two +12V rails will give you the steady amperage you need, but @Beheeemoth is correct, you should be looking into something that greatly exceeds your limits. The Corsair AX860i is a fairly expensive example, at around $150, but it's also likely that it or the AX860 are stocked at Fry's. If there are more selections, some other brands to consider in the 750W - 850W range are XFX, SeaSonic, Antec, and possibly FSP Group if you find they carry any. (Although that would be a miracle, as FSP has really only just returned from a bit of a hiatus in the high-current PSU category.)
The key thing for a good PSU is amperage on the +12V rail. You can have two +12V rails, (although one is preffered) but you have to be sure at least ONE of those rails exceeds the 38A rating. With a single rail you don't have to worry, as it provides plenty.
My personal favourites in the 850W category are XFX and Antec. XFX using SeaSonic designs and internals, while giving a more competitive price than SeaSonic most of the time. Meanwhile Antec has a lot of good designs in the high-current area, and for the most part uses its own internals (although they are known to stoop to 'unnamed OEM' internals for some ultra-affordable units) but they leave the designs to their manufacturer, who I think is Delta but that could be dated info.
Any decent 650W psu will basicly be way enough.
EVGA has good psu´s like the EVGA Super Nova 750W G2 80+ gold, this is a single railed version, make sure there is G2 in the name.

Your all awesome. Thanks for all the info into amperage for this beast. Funny I googles amperage for Titan x and come up with only 1 site after a little digging. Every page recommends the watts BUT not the amperage.
I wish I could buy you all a round. This is the best I can do.
CHEERS!
Thanks again all.
