Powerline TP link Packet

Hello,

The basic question is if Packet loss is normal?
I just ran this command in CMD (Pinging to my router )

ping 192.168.4.1 -t -l 65000

It seems on 402 packets, it missed 1,

Is that a normal count or is normal 0?

Due i did my Powerline on a eletric multiplier (You know one of those 1 socket to 12)

They advice to do it on the plug itself, So thats maybe why if it isnt normal, But the powerline has normal speeds etc so idk tbh..

CMD example http://puu.sh/1JYje

Sometimes it has more lose, But most of the time around that.

Anyhow,

Hope you can tell me if thats normal ^^

Best regards,

DrLuigi.

It seems the logical thing would be to test it when not using the power board...

Well i simple cant lol,

I do not have enough sockets,

Also here is a test i did: http://puu.sh/1K5Ob

It was pinging for some hours to my router, the other was pinging to rapidshare.com

Well...
Sounds like you're just going to have to work out a way to do it.
Otherwise you'll never know.

Well i guess i wont ever know then, Due i realy cant :P i have another socket, but thats all the other way of the room :P Where can i plug my PC and screens then :P

Anyhow :P

I guess its still not bad, Its most of the time at cmd only 1-2 packets over hundreds

loss of frames is okay, loss of packets is unacceptable.

Then again, id expect powerline networking to be as reliable as wireless given how many brownouts I get. Got a lot of over specced PSU's in my house to deal with it.

Well i guess it isnt bad here, its like at 500 packets maybe 1 packet loss,

Thats like less then 0.2 % is lost.
