Powercolor Red Devil 7900XTX clock oddities

Hello everyone, I am bringing weirdness for you to ponder. I have a Powercolor Red Devil 7900XTX in my machine, along with a 7950X CPU and an X670E Pro Art motherboard. 64GB of ECC UDIMMs at 5600mhz. Here is where the weird bit starts. Powercolor says the boost clocks are

Engine Clock(OC)
up to 2395MHz(Game)¹
up to 2565MHz(Boost)²

Engine Clock(STD/Silent)
up to 2330MHz(Game)¹
up to 2525MHz(Boost)²

But LACT says my boost clock is 2950. This is the stock setting, I have not overclocked anything here. All I have done is played with the fan curve to get the fans to ramp up slightly more aggressively, and up power to the 350 watts seen in the screencap below.

DO you think this reading is a bug?

edit: I am on Fedora 40 as well.

using AMD GPU Top I have personally witnessed the card boosting over 3000Mhz as well. I have a small video clip of that. I no longer think this is a bug in LACT.

There’s some amount of discrepancy between the stated clocks and the actual BIOS clocks on 6/7000 cards it seems; my XFX 6700 claims 1941/2174/2450 base/game/boost but the default “maximum” clock shown in LACT (or Windows, for that matter) is 2544.
