So I haven't tried re-seating the cooler but for some reason my GPU keeps making horizontal lines on my computer screen. Then after a while, everything goes purple... how can I fix this? Nothing on my board looks burnt or broken?

Could be your monitor. Have you tried it on a different one?
Are you on DIV, HDMI, or VGA?
