I just recently upgraded my video card from an EVGA GeForce GTX 650 1GB to an XFX RADEON R9 290 4GB. I have been having issues with my system powering down while playing games, especially with Battlefield 4. I know this card draws a lot of power but I meet the minimum power supply requirements by 150W. Here are my full specifications as of today:
I watched the temperatures while under full load and they were all fine. I'm led to believe it's my power supply causing my computer to shutdown. What else could it be?
Also, I am building a new PC a few months from now (includes the R9 290) that will look like this:

I'm 100% open to any suggestions.
My main issue is I'm not going to have the money to build my new computer until February or March, but I'd like to game until then.
Thanks!
