Power Connectors 1x 8-pin, 1x 6-pin is this both or one or the other

It says for power connectors : 1x 8-pin, 1x 6-pin, does this mean it needs both or just one of the two. also does 6+2 pin work as an 8 pin?

1) Both.
2) A 6+2 pin does work as an 8-pin, yes. It's essentially a split 8 pin that can be used as a 6 pin for compatibility.

I have that exact card. You need an 8( or a 6+2) and a 6. The card is a beauty I hope you like it as much as I do
