I was bummed when they stopped offering the WR in X trim. I was hoping to see a larger displacement version eventually!

Hopefully you're still around.

I'm looking to sell of my CBR500R for a FZ07 or FZ09 next spring. How much do you like your '07? Do you recommend that bike? Does it have enough power behind it?

I think you'd definitely notice a difference going up to a FZ-07. It's about 30lbs lighter than your current bike, and on top of that has about 50% more horsepower, and more torque as well. Definitely enough power behind it for me. Obviously the FZ-09 is going to stomp all over the 07, but for me the 07 had more power than I need and I preferred the look of it over the 09.

Yeah the look of the FZ-07 is far superior than the '09 to me as well. I knew the 07 had more gittup than the 500r but I never looked at the specs.

In my head I want me a good supersport bike but since I usually cruise around town more time than not having that kinda power would be lost. No tracks in the area to push the bike either.

I've read alot on the 09 and 07 and it really does seem people lean towards the 07 more. It sounds pretty damned good with the right exhaust too.

This was my first bike
2008 Vstar 1100

And this is my current bike
2016 HD Fat boy S
Its equipped with the cvo 110b motor

It sits almost exactly like the Vstar
But when wife and I are riding there is no drag or slowdown. Unlike my poor vstar

Sadly a unplanned event has prevented me from doing the mods I want. But it's all in good time right?
