Post your favorite cooking staples and condiments!

The UK has a great postal system, it will literally cost me about $5 all in. I could probably send 10lbs of the stuff back to the states for 20-30 bucks. I suppose thats one of things that comes with building an empire and the commonwealth.

Truth. Only acceptable condiments on pulled pork are pepper vinegar or mustard sauce.

Meat and added sugar in general should not go together. Definitely never white sugar at the very least. The liquid sugars like honey and maple syrup greatly depend on the food.

Grass Fed Butter

Salt (prefurably somewhat coarse Sea Salt or Kosher Salt. Yes, it does matter, but not for the reasons I think most people assume):

Garlic (preferably fresh or minced):

Olive Oil (Extra Virgin is better as a topping or dip, but non virgin can be better for a bit higher heat cooking)

Rosemary

And finally, Frank's Red Hot:

Those are the major staples in my house along the lines of what you guys are talking about. I actually really like Nando's Garlic or Medium Peri-Peri sauches as well, but they are comparatively expensive so I don't get them much.

Trigger Warning
I use the cheaper picnic shoulder instead of boston butt
cheapest spices for the dry rub
Leave dry rub on for 24 hrs in fridge
Smoke for 12 hours in cheap 40 dollar tabletop smoker.
When done pull of fat and mix with this:

it is still better then store bought pulled pork, in fact it is to die for:)
