I had a strange dream last night per the usual of being me.
I got a hold of a device that can traverse the multiverse. I went jumping to try to find my universe (this one I suppose). I kept hopping to similar universe mainly with humans. But one of them had dinosaurs in it that were people. They looked like dinosaurs and could talk to each other as well as me. At some point I ended up in the psych ward or something and they had me throwing my guts up. Then I had a flash of the dinosaurs going extinct… Fuck dude. I am the genocider in my dream apparently like from rick and morty…
I can guess as to why I had this dream. I am big on the multiverse for film and tv like DC. Then I saw a video the other day about how the dinosaurs went extinct. About every single day the kids in my care have watch the good dinosaur or the land before time. So, yea. I also was tripped out about the rick and morty Genocider episode. Either way I have dreams like this a lot, especially since I was in the hospital 6 years ago.
It seems like everything in the last 2 decades has gone hard on the multiverse theory. Like the matrix, dc, marvel, rick and morty, stranger things, fringe, stargate, god everything in scifi is about the multiverse.
sliders too. It is like hollywood is preparing us for the announcement by the governement that the aliens at roswell and all the ufos are from another universe. Hell pacific rim. I think the multiverse is real. Each individual person lives in slightly different version of the universe. Which is the multiverse!
I’ve had a dream with a similar premise as yours, but mine was dream hopping to other dreams I’ve had in the past

one involved flying monkeys at least 2 ocasions
one was the gameshow where you have the shopping cart in a grocery store
I’ve had dreams where I’m “blind” my eyelids are super heavy and won’t open and I can get them open for like a second but they close right back up and then I have like dare devil vision but 3rd person like a video game and its super disorienting
there are dreams where I’m being chased and I wake up sore and tired
never had sleep paralysis before but I do often wake up with my arms clentched to my chest so tight I’m sore all day
If I watch a zombie movie I have photorealistic nightmares about them
one in particular was right before the launch of metroid Prime 2 and I was in samus’s power suit so I could kill the zombies but a lot of them were my loved ones so I just froze them with the ice beam
once while working at toys r us and sears at the same time I had the dream I clocked out at sears, left the building but when I left the building I was in kmart and when I tried to leave I was in toys r us, a real retail twilight zone nightmare
never had the falling dream proper, the moment before I’d wake up I’d fall in the dream but like not even a second later wake up
more times than I can count I’d hit my alarm go back to sleep and dream I went to work, that’s annoying
Oh the most annoying dreams are ones where you can fly, but not really, I have to think really really hard and have to have a running start but won’t quite fly, I will sometimes its like an old car that hadn’t been started in a really long time
I have a recurring dream where i go to a super market and then when i try to leave the parking lot is in outer space. So apl i can do is go back into the market where all the people are. I cant get back to my family…
