Y U have so good of a camera…
R those Photoshoped?
Y is dere no small paper dude catching on fire…
Damn, chicken is cheap where you are, i pay ~5euros/kg for chicken breast
it was a sale price but @ 0.85 euro to 1 usd so converting to kilos/euro that 1.87 euro per kg. what country is it 5 euro?
You know… I hadn’t considered trying to get one into the shot. Hmmm… I will figure out a way lol.
Portugal
Who the hell are you and what thapfoque have you done with Den-Fi?
He would always get a small paper dude in shot…
I’m assuming they would rather not set the small paper dude on fire.
That would make for a good picture though.
My guess is Den-Fi have a few paper dudes for different situations. It ain’t just one…
They’re plastic, and yes. Quite a few (more than this photo) lol.
But I don’t want to introduce more plastics into my food than necessary lol. Maybe I’ll commission a metal one. Maybe titanium so it’ll heat color.
apparently you import a lot of your chicken
https://oec.world/en/profile/bilateral-product/poultry-meat/reporter/prt
even without taxes/tariffs just refrigerated shipping cost is going to add a lot. meanwhile a lot of the chicken i buy is grown in state.
Also, just to make sure there wasn’t a miscommunication, I’m talking about chicken BREAST… if it’s entire chicken then it’s 2.5euros
Iirc, cost of food production is higher in europe, don’t have a link but a report i read a couple of years ago gave an average +50% cost on meat production (depending on type of meat it could be more or less)
ah i bought bone in chicken quarters for that sale price the boneless breast are more like 2-3$ normally sometimes on sale for 1.50-1.80 if you buy a 10lb bag
Then it’s “in parity”, nevertheless it would make sense that food is a bit cheaper in US compared to europe because of regulation… again, going from memory but in poultry production you can have more chickens per square feet compared to europe, just this would make a difference in costs
Teriyaki chicken and sweet potatoes.
(It’s going to rain for the next week+, so I used the grill all weekend)
When the cheap supermarket bread is so fucking trash, they didn’t even mix the flour and the water properly…
I freaked for a moment, I thought it was mold at first…
Make your own bread, then any bits of unmixed flour would be a sign of it being handmade.
Ahktually… we call that artisan bread!
