Looks good. Sounds like either a “Guuuurl Dinner!” type of dish or a “Stoner/Pothead Lunch” type of dish.
It was a “I wonder what this would taste like?” kind of dinner. But since my brain constantly takes a step to the side I can see the stoner association
Elk short ribs, potatoes, carrot, onion, garlic and BBQ sauce. Cooked for 15 hours on low in the slow cooker. Could use a few more hours…
This is not something I would order normally, it was a gift for helping a friend. Ate a few pieces and meh… I’ll eat the rest later.
Making kidney beans for the very first time. Soaked overnight in lightly salted water. Some end chunks of prosciutto, onion powder, celery seed, oregano, bay leaves, garlic cloves. Not shown is added water with smoke flavor and Worcestershire sauce. Cooking in the slow cooker on auto.
Das gonna turn out good. Don’t forget to cook some rice or bake some bread.
Just some chickens and veggies.
I actually forced myself to eat the mushrooms. Normally I would not have even bought them, but I thought I would try. They were okay. Not a huge fan of the texture. Everything else was great.
Mushrooms are lyfe… except for those persons that would lose their life if the ate mushrooms.
Made from scratch apple-cinnamon muffinssssss
And yes i took a piece while they were warm , couldn’t resist the call of the muffin.
i did it again this time with thinner crust which i liked better and remembered to egg wash. also added green onions and a lot more potatoes and gravy to the mix make it a bit more pot pie like and made some pot pies with leftover filling. didnt have enough dough for all that filling.
From Carurday’s stream…
Squid Ink Pasta in a Garlic Basil Alfredo sauce, Sweet Vidalia Onion salad, eggplant pan fried in black garlic butter, and black garlic toasted homemade rolls.
Lucy made Lucy’s Leftovers Stew®* the other day.
I mix my chili with the spaghetti.
My version of this.

ground hamburger
tomato paste and sauce
beef broth
apple cider vinegar
worcesthshire sauce
diced onions
spices (cinnamon, allspice, cloves)
chocolate
cooked together simmering for 3 hours.
Man, here in Italy you could get stabbed for doing that (and for breaking the spaghetti) .
How was it?
Looks like something that you’d get stabbed for in Italy, but I see you’re a freedom-loving American, so you can make your pasta however you damn-well please.
I wanna try it some day too to be honest.
Amen… was just saying, don’t try that if you’re in Italy. If it tastes good and Italians will have an heart attack … who cares
Gotta love Skyline Chilli! It’s become must have for me whenever I roll through that part of the world.
