remember 2 weeks ago when i made fried chicken burritos then rice bowls?
turns out sam is watching this thread for ideas o/
howdy sam you’ve given me some ideas too take whatever ideas you wants
probably just happened to have the same not all that original idea at about the same time but it would be cooler if he was here so thats what im choosing to believe
you ever cook something and reach that step where you are like “holy shit why did i make so much food?”
i blame the store for selling 3lbs of cabbage as the smallest size option surely i dont have a problem.
i think this is a 6 liter pot? about 90% full after i took out a bowls worth. its chicken, potato, nappa cabbage, slow cooked onions and various types of cheese to put on top. pretty simple literally everything but potatoes was on sale this was like 5$ total pennies per serving
Son’s birthday over the weekend so I made him his favourite lunch. Lots more family gatecrashed so I ended up making 3kg karaage. Cheesecake split on me which sucked but still tasted great.
Tonight’s dinner is kari kapitan, or at least something kind of similar. Since I haven’t tasted the real deal I have no idea what it should taste like. This was tasty though.
Made more pancakes…
This time I put in fresh pineapple with the banana and toasted coconut. That brought the taste profile up an order of magnitude. Mmmm!
asked for 10-15lbs of pork to make sausage got 22.9lbs so biggest batch yet. only had a spoonful in ramen so far one change form the regular spice mix is i used dried ground ginger powder instead of cutting/smashing up fresh ginger and i got out the “spice” coffee grinder i never use for the black pepper because i cant be fucked to hand grind that much black pepper. and as usual no meat grinder did this all by hand with a meat cleaver
