Possibly the worst build video of all time

Showing logan how the pros do it.

Firstly, they call it socket 2001.

Secondly, why get a i7 3820 for gaming...

Thirdly, fuwaqeuf gbujwebfe, it is terrible.

Loving that thermal paste application and the fingers on the cpu. I thought he was going to drop the cooler on the motherboard, bye bye build.

In the beginning he says if a noob like me can do it anyone can but if I never built a computer before and only watched this video I would immediately go out and pay someone to build it for me because he had an unreasonable amount of trouble. Even their terms are just made up and nowhere near the actual terms you would find in your manual examples include but are not limited to "port cover" (I/O shield) and "atx 2X12 power cable" (24 or 20+4 pin motherboard power) "atx 2X4 power cable" (8 or 4+4 pin cpu power). They should try reading the book or atleast have someone who knows computers do the overlay to correct the stupid crap they are saying.

Lmao IGN better just stick to game reviews.

The comments in this video..Holy jesus..I feel like going to /v/ and helping them install Ubunto just to calm me down.

Seriously, has that guy ever even read a manual or even looked up the correct names and terminology.

how not to build a gaming pc, wrong parts and bad method, $1400 you could do better build for that money

This has rustled my jimmies more than any other Video on youtube, i feel sad for the people who follow this and actually waste so much money so ineffeciently and who will also probably destroy their build somehow.

What's next, spit works as good thermal grease? LOL at them only getting two sticks of RAM

I face palmed so hard when he set the motherboard on the anti-static bag.

Meh, it wasn't that bad. There were some mistakes like the whole CPU cooler installation, the fact that they're using dual channel ram instead of quad channel, their blatant misunderstanding of tooless drive systems, and the horrible cable management, but other than that there isn't really much wrong with it other than a typo or two. It's not bad for a beginner making his first build, but there are definitely some things that people shouldn't emulate.

uh...why?

Anti-Static Bags ARE conductive, its how the keep the static electricity away from the Motherboard.

I disagree.

They picked a good HD.

Exactly. Could have lost the board that way. Plus I didn't once see them ground themselves.

Ok, so I had a 4 game losing streak on League and now I just saw this video, I'm not in the best mood :(

I fell like I should buy a new case because I also have a cooler master HAF XM and I don't want my PC to have anything in common with this jack asses PC

oh you IGN
