Hi Tek Syndicate,
I've recently been looking at the budget PC cases you have there in the US. They're usually flimsy, not designed particularly well, not quite functional, yet still cost a fair bit.
I have something for you to take a look at - SilentiumPC products. It's a small company based in Poland, and they don't export much of what they make, but I guess they'd be willing to ship you a couple of review samples (they already supplied some to TechPowerUp). What they make is cases, fans, CPU coolers and PSUs. While their products tend to be quite cheap (less than $50 for an entry-level case, about $30 for a nice budget tower cooler), they're also really good for the price they sell at.
I personally own a Brutus M23, and it just makes sense - all the typical equipment you'd expect from a modern case, a cage for 4 3.5" and 4 2.5" drives mounted sideways, toolless HDD/SSD/ODD installation, filtered front and PSU air intakes, additional magnetic dust filters, room for 6 case fans, a huge graphics card and a high tower cooler, and so on. It's solid, functional and cheap. Would you ever ask for more at 50 bucks?
Also worth to mention are the Gladius M30 case, the Fera 2 CPU cooler, and the Zephyr fans.
I'm awaiting your response - is it something you'd possibly like to review? :)
Cheers.
