Possibility of using mSata for caching on Linux

Hi,
I've looked on the web for a guide/some direction on whether it is possible to use an mSata drive for caching on a Dell Vostro 3360 whilst using a Linux o/s (spec. Arch).

I am aware that this functionality was originally intended for Windows, but does anyone know if its possible on a Linux distro?

Caching in what way? As in what type of cache?

If were talking ssd caching for spinning disks /block devices look at bcache or lvm cache http://blog-vpodzime.rhcloud.com/?p=45

I've not set it up myself, but those are the main two supported options.
