Portable amp for Beyerdynamic DT 770´s 80ohm for under 100$

I don’t want to buy two separate amps for my pc and phone, so im looking for an portable solution that I could use on both. Is this any good?

But do they need an amp in the first place? I’ve been searching for answers but it seems to be a bit of a mixed bag, especially when it comes to driving them with smartphone. However if I need amp to use them with my phone, I might as well buy one that will be better than my motherboards onboard audio.

help! ^^

If you have the headphones already, just give them a go in your phone to see if it can drive them loud enough for you.

I have a pair of HiFiMan HE-560s which are 45ohms, my iPhone 6 at full volume is about a normal level for me so its not go enough power, it is crystal clear though. 80ohms, I think you'll struggle.

I use a FiiO Kunlun E-18 as my portable DAC/amp, comes with bands to tie it to your phone and works great with the laptop on the go. It is a superb DAC and the amp has some serious punch.

As a basis, I use a Mayflower O2/DAC at the desk and the little E18 is pretty much as good just not quite the same output levels if you put the O2 on high gain and crank it.

At $99, I bought mine at about $200 iirc, it is a bargain.

looks to be everything I was looking for. ^^

Nice choice, FiiO make some superb products and aren't shy about telling you everything that goes inside.

Also you won't need to deal with Creative's software!!!
