I use Pop on my Workstation. Update went OK. Discovered today VLC player works wonky and causes system freeze/crashes sys. Uninstalled. Still same issue.
Updating Pop on laptop, nightmarish. I mean had to rebuild the Pop Store from source code nightmarish. Hint: If you are doing this, you need one file and it was super hard to find. I have it running but its not quit 100%. Pop and Ubuntu have been pretty good for me pushing out fixes in their updates so I am going to wait awhile as long as I can still use it.
How did you update? That sounds like something is wrong with your system or APT/DPKG.
I used the OS and Upgrade Utility. You have a 50/50 chance of getting an upgrade to work on Pop @ times. I was able to upgrade my workstation. One laptop I had to build the Pop Shop from source and my HP Ryzen laptop wouldn’t upgrade and I could not restore so I just installed Fedora.
