well if you do a sparc machine, marvel at openboot :p

i did have a chance at getting an e450 with max processor configuration one time for about 100$ but didnt have the money at the time :x. was gonna make a super router/mini mainframe so i could do my darknet projects like ~5 quad port 1gb ethernet, fios whatever, mount like 4-8 24port switches to the top of the chassis would just be using the e450 as a dns basically so all the switches would be specifically configured to ip range(s) and interconnected etc

but nah the vote was cause i wanted to swim against the stream :p

For note of the votes, I'm going to rebuild a Dell XPS 266 as I think a post about rebuilding my streaming machine wouldn't be very interesting :\
