Quick Question,

Do I need a special patch panel if I am going to connect a device that requires PoE threw it to get to my Cisco PoE switch?

PoE just runs along a normal ethernet cable so as long as the patch panel is connecting all 4 twisted pairs it should work just fine.

It just runs on the brown pair(Pin7/8), shouldn't matter.

are you running pc to switch or router to switch, you may need a switched cable
