I have this build fx6300 , msi 970 gaming , msi radion hd 6450 in silverstone grandia gd10b as for some reviews my case is not good for cooling I get good temprature when I turned off the trubo mode but today I installed arch linux on vmware player and the heat went above 50c this wasn't my experience with intel i5s but myabe it's my new SS case.
here my temprature: cpu with no turbo mode and no vm is 20s and 30s but with turbo mode go even to 60 but now with no turbo mode but vm, heat around 50 and
Jokes aside, if you are using the stock cooling solution - especially if it is just the aluminum block with fins cut into it - you can almost never expect great temperatures.
No worries. AMD APUs/CPUs tend to get higher temperatures. 50s are totally fine. You should be worried when your CPU/APU temps are stuck in the 70s. If temps start at the 50s and go up to the 70s from time to time, that is not a problem - ordinary behaviour for AMD Processors. I have done a lot of builds with AMD CPUs/APUs. Your case is not a problem - do not change it if there are no other complains. If you are really afraid your CPU could explode or something - go with water cooling - but as I said before: There is no real need to do that since this is not a problem.
thank you, I thought about the thermal paste because I wasn't sure if I apply it right. I'll try to apply it again when I have time. I want my cpu to live long so I want a reasonable temps. if I want a cheap cooling do you recommend one? what about temps for graphic and motherboard? any other advice? thanks
Are those full load temps? They seem perfectly fine for me. Maybe upgrade you cooler if you feel its to load but 65°C is the max safe temp for extended periods of time according to AMD.
Trying to apply new thermal paste won't change anything. These are the normal temps you have to expect. If you really want to get better temps, get a new cooler e.g. the Arctic Freezer. The other temps seem to be totally fine as well. Again: You don't need to worry about your current CPU temps - they are normal - your CPU will last long with them.
yes thanks but I think many say amd cpus have good temprature without overclocking, maybe temprature wasn't so bad but I feel isn't normal. but now I need more opinions for good but cheap cooler. is't good to buy used cooler? like fantek or dark night if I find on ebay?.
I know about cooler master but seem like overhyped prodcut. there are better alternatives but I dont' know about them. I had cooler master case and its turn on button stop to work after like 6 months. generally, I register to this forum to get new better information because in my internet search usually, I find much info about cooler master, corsair and intel. for ex, I have iogear keyboard and i'm satisfied with it and for me it's the first time to know about iogear in contrast to logetic. but always thanks for everyone replayed to me.
