I initially did have an AMD build set up, copied from a youtuber (it sounds bad, but I just wanted to know 100% that my parts would work!) But recently I was advised not to that by a friend very experienced with computer builds, he said that Intel would be better in the long run. I am now really stuck. My price range is £500 ($842.) And I would really appreciate any help on what to get and what the best bang for my buck is! Thank you so much!

Intel is too expensive at this price point. +1 on this build here.
Ok, I'll use this and then upgrade in a year or two after a longer saving period. Thank you very much for help!!!!!!
