Hi , I recently went on a car trip with my CAL headphones stored on my backpack, and when we arrived I noticed something had crushed them and ripped one of their ears off. I always use them on the PC so I need to fix them ASAP.
I'll leave you some pictures of them so you can see with detail what the cut is like, sadly it's a plastic kinda thingy that was connected to the ear, idk if I could use some special glue or a nail to stick it back together, it also had a slight rotation so maybe that will be stiffer after reparing. Which of this options is the best solution?

I hope you guys can help me out, I look forward to hearing your comments
P.S: Ive read the mod someone did to the CALs on head-fi's forum who had a similar problem, but even after unscrewing the part he mentions, i cant remove that little box of its place, and I dont understand what he actually does to stick the ear back to the phone. Maybe he had a different type of cut than mine. I could also be misunderstanding one of the technical words he uses.

P.S.2: I dont know why the text gets all cramped up when i post the topic so sorry for that, i may be wrong but parragraghs doesnt work here it seems
Doesn't look like you cut the cable which is good. The easiest fix I can think of wouldn't retain the swivel but would get you back up and running.
Take a thin small but sturdy piece of flat metal (a conduit strap would work if you flatten it in a vice or hammer it) and bang it to the shape you need. Drill a small hole in both ends and get two fat but very short screws. Predrill both pieces of the headphones as well to match you metal screw holes. Screw the metal to both pieces of the headphone. Its a brace and should last for a long time. I have fixed many headphones this way and it always lasts. You can spray paint the metal before or tape off the area and paint after to make it blend.
