Please Help me x_x

Hi,

Today I recieved a Windows 8.1 Update called "Microsoft - Pointing Drawing - Microsoft Hardware USB Mouse". After I installed it my machine does not want to recognize my R.A.T. 5 Mouse and it does not move or any how control the cursor. I tried to re-install the drivers but it did not help since you need to have the mouse connected to the computer to install the drivers but my computer does not recognize the mouse at all so the installation process does not want to continue to install the drivers. The mouse stopped working in the Bios too but when I tried using the mouse on a different computer it worked just fine even without drivers.

Please help me... I have to use a Pink Wireless Microsoft mouse right now X_X

Thanks

Well, whenever I notice a problem with my mouse drivers, I always check the device manager to see if there actually is something wrong with the driver/hardware. If there is, I try uninstalling it and reconnect the device. If the same problem appears again, I try using another port. Sometimes the computer installs the drivers depending on which port you're using (maybe it's just an old computer I'm using, but yeah). Sometimes I try installing the driver and restart the computer to see if it just needs to reload it properly. If that doesn't work, I check the homepage of the device manufacturer to see if they have drivers for it which I can manually install. If there aren't any, I just check if they have a forum or some kind of trouble shooting for it. If not, google around and see if the problem has been solved by somebody else somewhere else.

There are probably more ways to fix the problem, but these are the ways I've usually found to be needed.
