Please help fix minecraft server lag

hey i have two gaming pc a intel i5 2500K whit 8G of ram and a amd FX 6300 whit 8G of ram 

i am running the server on my intel rig whit 7G of ram and my groupe of frend are complaning that there server lag my internet is fiber op so they should not realy be having server lag 

we all use hamashi to connect

minecraft is very badly optimized, and it might also be your hard drive speeds, loading chunks off an hdd can be somewhat slow. also, just because you have fiber, doesn't mean your internet has enough bandwidth for a server.
