Hey,
So I read an article about the PS4 streaming console games to the Vita on a local network and had a thought. Is there any reason why one couldn't stream PS4 games onto a laptop or even a desktop PC? How about Android? Obviously, Sony is gonna cock block the PC love but I'm talking technically. Is there an actual hardware limitation to this? I suppose we could ask the same question about Xbox One but there isn't a comparable mobile device to the Vita on that end. So I'm thinking a game like "The Last of Us", streamed to the laptop or whatever when the Wife's watching Grey's Anatomy. <uhg!> Maybe a video answer encompassing this and game streaming in general?
Thanx!
PS I'd settle for Logan or Wendell just saying my name on air .

I don't even understand what OP is writing about. What should it be done about it?
I don't know how PS4 and Vita work, but IIRC the PS3 and PSP do it over WiFi so if the protocol was reversed it should be technically achievable to spoof a PSP on a laptop... oh look it's open source http://code.google.com/p/open-rp/
Note that a hacked PSP is needed for setting that up because the PSP plugs into the PS3 via USB to authenticate the pairing initially. I'd assume PS4 and Vita do a similar handshake, so unless you have something like a Teensy to act as the Vita on the USB you'd be out of luck. That would require the USB protocol to be reversed as well, and I'm not sure it has been. Has the Vita been hacked yet even? Jeez it's been a while since I cared about consoles...
