Playstation 4 Announcement NOW!

But...but..but Killzone and..and Uncharted </3

That was scary, Blizzards says they are making console games... thank god its D3. They can have that awful garbage.

Blizzard just announced Diablo 3 for PS3 AND 4.

And then there was Activision.

Now I'm going to sleep.

Ew.

Bungie, huh? Interdasting...

Bet microsoft is pretty annoyed about that. Since they owned them until like a year ago.

It will be both platforms apparently.

Well, I probably will not be able to afford this on launch but... it still looks pretty cool.

Nothing interesting happened after the first half hour. This is time I could have been playing KotoR.

With all these consoles pushing "integration" so much it makes me feel like they are just getting closer to Non-General Purpose Computers.  Which makes a PC even more appealing.

EDIT: I am very pleased that the consoles are catching up to where we are/were ths past year meaning the majority of developers that don't treat PC so well will have more reason to boost some graphics and performance. Also, liking that the architecture is x86!

The keynote was boring, half assed, anti-climactic; typical Sony, to say the least. They didn't even show what the damn thing looked like! Did they take the actual tangible console to the cloud as well?

I was actually looking forward to the ps4 and watched through the 2 hours only to be disappointed with the specs and not being able to see the damn thing

also, is it just me or does anyone even care about this whole social integration in one device crap?

seems like they've based all their ideas on the whole 'we want all our socialising on our gaming console' mindset.

when I want to turn on my ps3, I want to play games, not use it for facebook or stream netflix...i'm pretty sure thats what my phone and laptop are for

seems like sony want everyone to pick up sony branded everything instead like sony phones, tvs and consoles just so they will integrate better,

if thats how its gonna be

no thanks sony

Was watching / reading The Verge's live blog of the event. I was a bit dumbfounded at the end... Where was the actual god damn console?! The main "thing" that Sony announced? They talked about all the graphical power, the capabilities of the new console, the ugly ass controller, the UI, but no console...

Also, I didn't see it mentioned here, but I think they said it'll also have 8 gigs of GDDR5 RAM, for whatever that's worth. Think I'll stick with PC. Let's see what Microsoft comes out with.

The machine and the rest of the specs will probably be at E3. They probably didn't want to reveal too much as Microsoft hasn't revealed anything yet.

Time will tell.

I didn't really get the vibe that they wanted people to pick up Sony products only, sure they pushed the Vita hard and the PS Move they pushed pretty hard too. But I have the feeling that Sony will come through here, dunno just a feeling. But then I will admit to be a bit of a Sony fanboy.

I also heard that they are porting Diablo 3 to the PS3 and PS4...Do people still play Diablo 3???

I honestly thought they were going to  announce their next MMO to come out for the PS4, you know, Titan.

I honestly can't wait for this years Blizzcon because they will announce about TITAN this year, and it looks very beautiful, other than that the PS4  looks decent and Watch Dogs still looks like an awesome game to play lol...

That awkward moment when you realize Sony's never released a console at the time of their announcements.  I wonder if any of the flamers asking where the console was took that into account.

No big shock that D3 is on consoles, the whole control scheme hinted at that pretty much in every way.

Well, I don't think that any console has ever been released on announcements.. Announcements is just that, an anouncement that something is coming soon, I think it said something like release for Holiday 2013, soo... Makes more sense to show the console itself on something like E3.

This is good news for all of us. With AMD’s most recent chips proving to be very solid and benchmarking right up there this bolds well for AMD. There needs to be competition in the marketplace and lately AMD has not been much competition for Intel. With the PS4 running AMD in the CPU and graphics it should hopefully help AMD to remain solvent and keep Intel working to out do AMD. I hope the console sells well for Sony and AMD to help these companies continue to provide competition in the market.
