so me and my friend who are from different countries are trying to play coop in this game. since gamespy have been shut down the multiplayer servers have been shut down. we have tried tuungle and evolve and we jus cant seem to get it working. does anyone know how to use either of these services and how to make them work? would help alot :)
Tungle is how I do it when I was playing.
Start Tungle.
Move into a room you and your friend can find easily. Say the Saints Row room if you can find it.
Start up the game.
Start lan.
Creare or Search for games.
And find the one your friend set up or guv him the name and password of your game.
Should just work from there on out.
The only thing I will say specifically about Saints Row 2 us this. It is one of the greatest multi players games ever, and CD Project Red ruined it. The game has multiple bugs, points of failure, missing textures, missing collisions so you can drive through certain locations and randomly fall through the ground, mismatches in online missions syncing, crashes from various issues. They ruined that game on PC. In console it is flawless and still one of the greatest multiplayer ever.
Look up the PCGamingWiki.com and Gentlemen of the Row mods. They will help fix many of the issues.
