Planning an ~$800 budget gaming build

I've been neglecting to join the Tek Syndicate due to shear laziness... (shame on me, i know) But now i'm here and want some input/advice on a build I've been looking into.

Anyways, I've been doing some research and planning on an AMD "budget build" for about a month now. The hard part about this build is I live in a portion of the USA that charges insane amounts on shipping! so for now, the only place i've found to not wring my neck with S/H charges is Tiger Direct.

The build I have come to choose so far is as follows:

An AMD FX-4300    -$119

Asus M5A99X Evo R2.0    -$130 (+20 rebate)

XFX Radeon 7870 2gb    -$250 (+20 rebate)

Kingston Hyper-X Beast 8gb (2x4) 1866    -$63

ThermalTake Versa II Mid-tower ATX case    -$50

PCPower&Cooling Silencer mkII 750w 80plus Silver cert.    -$65 (crazy sale right now)

WD 1tb Blue    -$70

Also amongst them are an internal memory card reader, and a couple extra case fans (cooler master excalibur) I will also be waiting out a little longer to purchase an SSD until the prices drop maybe a little more, or wait til November for a good sale.

With this total order, it comes to $793.53 + $50 s/h

The best deal i've seen yet for shipping to me :/

The case and PSU I am most likely going to buy immediatly due to the value of the sale. The rest i would like to know your thoughts. Any changes? Any money savers? Any issues you might think of?

I am in no real rush to purchase these, other than maybe the case and PSU, so any advice on upcoming tech or price drops that i should hold out for as well?

As of right now there's a great deal of $109.99 for the FX 4300 on Amazon, though it's a different site than Tigerdirect. If you're going to wait it out then that probably won't matter.

If you are going to wait it out then a FX 6300 is only $10 more if prices remain static.

You should scout on the stronger GPUs if you plan on waiting. Right now there aren't alot of them on sale but when they are, you might find that they're just a tad bit above that radeon 7870 you have there right now. The Sapphire radeon 7950 dropped to 269.99 before, I think. Logan Mentions that the 670 dropped to $300 in his video. I haven't found it so I think he's lying but he said it. Another candidate to keep an eye out for are the 7970s.

Thanks for the info KracieKev

the only better price i saw on Amazon was that FX4300, the 6300 might be a good idea too. if I wait it out for the GPU's the 7950 or 7970 would be much much better :D

If i go for the 4300 i could eventually upgrade to an 8 core and then just up the cpu cooler along with it. i think for now this could be sufficient, also if i get an aftermarket cooler i could overclock easily. I'll be waiting for a little while for the GPU anyways, so if any other sales come up i might spend that little extra and get the better card too. I got a good refund for my taxes so a good sum of that could be used to up my hardware. I would still prefer to keep it under my personal cap at $800.
