Picking out Cat 6a cable

Putting up walls in my new construction soon and I want to run cat 6a cables.

this is what I’m looking at https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079NN5S58/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A2NFTNJT88MXC2&psc=1

Also getting these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CLVAJCK/ref=crt_ewc_img_huc_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A1AMUYYA3CT6HJ

I’ll get wall plates from Lowes

This stuff is good too. A little bit less expensive. But with Cat 6A, nothing is really cheap?

Oh and I love cable matters stuff so good choice on those.

If you plan to run all the cable yourself its defiantly worth investing in a good crimping tool and punch down a quality tool will make your life much more enjoyable.

I rock mono price stuff its pretty good (cable is cable for the most part if your just doing this for in home, your runs wont be long so even lower grade copper isnt really an issue)

If you’re going to do proper runs then you need to get solid copper core cables.

Stranded cables are only meant for short runs under 30 meters.

You would then terminate the ends in female keystone Jack’s and connect everything up in a patch panel.

TrueCable is one brand I’ve been using for a while. Their quality is good and its pure copper, not Copper-Clad Aluminum.

They’ll be here Wednesday!
