Physical Mouse in VirtualBox Help? *Solved*

Hello, i am running ubuntu 14.04 with gnome and i have a logitech g502, well i want to be able to adjust the dpi settings and optimize the mouse for my mousepad but Logitech does not have any software for linux also the software does not work with wine, it cannot recognize my mouse if installed through wine. So my idea was to make a virtual machine with windows 7 on it and install the logitech software on there, the software works perfectly except for it also cannot recognize my mouse because the virtual box drivers for the mouse are custom or whatever, basically windows does not see my mouse as the logitech g502. I was wondering if there is anyway to have virtualbox directly access my mouse, or have direct access to the physical hardware like the keyboard or mouse.

Add it as a direct USB device. I'm not exactly sure how you do this in ubu, I believe it's under USB pass through.

Yes that seemed to work, but i did have to give my user account permission to use VirtualBox virtualization solutions. Thank you for the help.
