Photoshop on Linux

So I installed Photoshop on Linux using Wine and PlayOnLinux, but the 'allfonts' package 404'd.

Where else can i obtain this package?

One other issue is that when i go to open an image all i see is one one by background windows all distroted and torn (as in screen tearing).

Because of this i have been using Gimp and it has grown on me, however it still isn't Photoshop.

What do?

Perhaps i  should rephrase, the 'allfonts' package no longer exists; when you try to download it though wine shell it 404's. Is there another way to install the 'allfonts' package. e.g. is there an 'allfonts' torrent and can i install it maually.

Maybe learn to use GIMP. Otherwise you'll be stuck in the endless cycle of Adobe dependencies/upgrades - which becomes expensive, also at the cost of productivity.

GIMP is cross-platform, as is Inkscape.

Thanks for the fonts. I've been trying to use GIMP and Inkscape, my main problem is Animation; I've been using Photoshop for frame Animation and don't really know of any alternatives. GIMP's implementation isn't the best.

Have you used Blender?

An example of animating a still.

A lot of media pros use GIMP/Blender.

Adobe products are more for mum-and-dad xmas card designers :P
