sargent, u noe amd a few years ago, use to be superior to intel. gamers would always choose them. Maybe these are to cpus to take down the i7's. u never noe

I'm actually glad those fuckers are finally back on the saddle. I was starting to get worried I might pay for a CPU chip for $2k if AMD was not around anymore. Opposed to if AMD were still around, maybe $500. I love competition.

Okay, my question is: I have a ma 790x ds4....which is am2+.... I already have a phenom, but would possibly get the 3.0 ghz model, So if this new am3 is here, is is worth getting that if it works with am2+.....what is it ht 4.0? or should I stick with the am2+ model.
