Phenom II 965 BE Temps

I'm running an encode in Handbrake.  I just want to know if it's ok for the processor to stay at a temp of 54 C at full load for an extended period of time and whether or not it will hurt it.  Temps are taken from Speedfan.  Everything stock.

54c is fine on the Phenom II 965 thay can handle 70c max

I push my Phenom II 955 a lot. Sometimes it goes to 80 Degrees C, which is the highest I will let it go. I to have it at 4.2 Ghz

80c is pushing your luck a little there ^_^ i still love the old Phenom chips thay can take a pounding.

+1, Phenom II cpus were great, no frills, big silicon, raw power, huge overclocking potential.

I have an 955 in my old gaming PC, now my backup, and it runs at crazy low temps with my almost 50% glycol liquid cooling, typically 3 to 6 °C above room temperature, at 3.6 GHz, which is what I normally run it at, because even at that speed, it hardly ever gets a workout, and it's perfectly stable at 1.400 Vcore. At 4 GHz, it's never gone higher than 38°C, and that's at 1.450 Vcore and maximum load. Hooray for 45nm lithos and well spaced cores.

phenom III AMD plz

54 at full load is good temps, 54 is my idle temps on my laptop ^-^ (shouldnt compare but just saying)
