That could be fun to see :)
I think any game that would require the 4 of them to co-ordinate and achieve something would be good.
I see it going two possible ways a) professionals used to working together allows team work to come naturally or b) chaos, hilarity and bananas.
Also It would be interesting to see if @Wendell turns into a dictator in that situation, controlling the helm of the chaos haha.

We're still debating what game we're going to play next, but Wendell had actually brought up Elite: Dangerous fairly early on when we started talking about live streaming. We've been doing some research on it, as I don't think any of us have ever played it before so we're not entirely sure what to expect. We're concerned there would be a lot of boring travel time, is that accurate?

It definitely has its long travel times so perhaps it would be a better option for a "super cut" video rather than a stream. Though that depends entirely on the type of viewership you have/generate and of course what would actually be fun for you all to play!
They could do some pirating going from system to system.
It actually depends on where you go. For example, when you jump into a star system you will find that there are entities orbiting that star such as space stations, terminals, planets etc. etc. so when you so jump from one system to another with hyperdrive (which only takes a few seconds) you can then choose where you want to go in the system with supercruise. If you choose a destination in which is 100000+ light seconds away it might take 5 minutes (in a sidewinder aka the starter ship)
