Hey I currently live ina share house with one wireless router (with horrible australian internet) and have a horrible time connecting to.
I purchased a wireless card witha beefy antenna which seems to be working well now but i had the idea of setting up a VM with PFSense that would recieve the wifi signal and then using a seperate wireless card act as a wireless access point aswell as a self contained network.
I was thinking of doing some site caching and possibly a nas inside the vm to share my media files. i would be connecting to the access point a xbox one, chromebook, chromecast, a windows tablet and a laptop. i would also have the vm share its connection with my main pc it would be running on. would it be possible?
