I am trying to install pfSense on an old Compaq Persario SR1020NX with a Celeron processor with 2GB of RAM, Circa 2002. I get past the Mulit-User prompt and then get multiple errors saying "ACPI BIOS Warning (bug): 64-bit Physical Address in XSDT is too large" with what looks like memory addresses following them. I have attached an image of the whole string. My google foo is not finding a lot on this one.
Is this a BIOS issues?
Thanks!!

Are you running 32 or 64 bit version of pfsense?
32 Bit version. Its and x86 processor.
have you tried with anew image downlaod and dd to usb key again?
I have tried both release 2.3.2 and 2.3.4. This machine will not boot from USB.
Ill see what i can figure out
what image are you using?
pfSense-CE-2.3.4-RELEASE-i386.iso
have you tried to boot any other distro to see that it will boot something else?
32 Bit Mint Linux will not install either.
I think you got hardware issues. Chunk it and get a cheap upgrade
