Pfsense build!

Hello everyone, So I've never posted here before, but I have been a follower of Tek for years now and recently decided to join the website a few months ago. So the question is I plan on building a Pfsense router, and yes I will do an overkill of a job doing it, so no one sit here and tell me oh you don't need that much power.. I know i don't I just want it! So I've used it before installed it on my first computer I ever got (Which was in 2001) Now its 2015 I want to upgrade for personal reason's and for business reason's as I currently make Nas's and Router's for upcoming companies. Below will be a list of things I'm looking at getting to build, If you can point me to cheaper parts, or tell me what will not work and what will work that would be great. Thank you!

Cpu: not really sure I know I won't need a lot of power in this section.. so its a choice between these two.

Since the Motherboard only has one Pci and already has a nic I'll use the on-board one, Now as for a wireless nic this is where i guess my question comes in. Will this wifi pci card work to make it a router.

^^^ That's probably be the most expensive part of this build.. If it can work in theory which would be great before i buy all the parts, I will then buy all the parts and build it.

Well that wifi card won't work. Pfsense has very limited support for wifi cards, and pretty much anything n and newer won't work. Also you're going to need atleast one other wired nic, I would recommend getting an Intel pro 1000 pt dual port card off ebay and using that instead of the l onboard.

The best way to do wifi is to have a separate access point rather than using pfsense.

I had a feeling, Thank you for the Advice!
