So after getting board with doing nothing today, i decided to finally build my box.
So after getting a machine put back together i installed pf sence and set it up. Lo and be hold it didn't recognize the card. So i though "maybe the install got corrupted or something" reinstalled. Didn't do it. So after googleing the problem, it came back with the general consensus of run the update. tried that. Didn't do it.
Any help?
P.S. This is the card> http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833166076
Is it that hard to find support for this?
it would be alot easier if you actually gave the hardware config you are using, model numbers etc
hard to get support when no one knows
"I cant get this bolt off my car in this one place for this one thing"
no need to be sorry, just future reference is all, the more information you can give of an overall config the better support you can expect to get
a good place to start as well is always the support pages of whatever it is your trying to use

Sorry

nothing on rosewill cards
It looks like preliminary support for the chipset in that card has been added to FreeBSD as of March 2013. Because pfSense is based on an older release of FreeBSD (8.3 from April 2012) the driver would have to be backported to be added to pfSense.

As a workaround, you might try using the Windows NDIS drivers, but I've never done that on FreeBSD or pfSense so I can't say how well that works or not. Nevertheless, here are the instructions:

I noticed however that the developer ISO seems to have been taken down, so you'll probably have to follow the instructions here to build one: https://devwiki.pfsense.org/DevelopersBootStrapAndDevIso
