Permission denied on LG on Fedora 34

Hello good community,

I was able to do a GPU passthrough to a VM but I’m having trouble initiating Looking Glass. I followed the installation guide, I was able to compile LG and edit the libvrit vm to add the required XML section, but when I run the VM I inmediatly get the following error message:

Error starting domain: internal error: process exited while connecting to monitor: 2021-08-05T06:15:34.020891Z qemu-system-x86_64: -object memory-backend-file,id=shmmem-shmem0,mem-path=/dev/shm/looking-glass,size=33554432,share=yes: can’t open backing store /dev/shm/looking-glass for guest RAM: Permission denied

I haven’t done anything special when compiling and installing LG.

What can I do to troubleshoot this problem?

I don’t have any experience with LG, but here is a thread that may help:
