Hey guys I recently completed my Unraid vm server which has three vms… Windows, Mac, and linux. I am trying to get an expansion card working on the pci x1 slot but its not working. I dont understand why x1 slots are being disabled.
I have both x16 slots occupied by GPUS. (2 GPUS)
And I have only one nvme m.2 drive.
CPU - Ryzen 3900x
Motherboard - x570 ASUS TUF GAMING PLUS (WIFI)
2 gpu on 3 gen CPU should be 16x and 4x (page 1-7), as you have an nvme it might be 8x 8x
looks like the pcie 1x hang from the chipset…with all the sata controllers and usb stuff…Usally there is a statement in de manual about if you use sata connectors x pcie1 will be disabled…not in this one it seems…weird.
I would suggest disabling the sata controllers in bios and see if one pcie 1 starts working
